Welcome to Morse Code Translator at morsecodetranslator.im. We provide a browser-based Morse code tool to convert text to dots and dashes, decode Morse to text, and optionally play tones for practice. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use Morse Code Translator.
Morse Code Translator is an independent web tool for learning and working with International Morse code patterns. We are not a government agency, emergency service, or official telegraph operator. Morse code as a system is widely documented in the public domain; our website, software, design, branding, and original content are provided by us.
The service includes a translator on the landing page: live conversion as you type or paste, direction swap, copy helpers, optional playback and light sync, speed and tone settings, and related features described on the site. Features and layout may change over time.
You must use Morse Code Translator in compliance with applicable laws. You are responsible for how you use translated output—including sharing codes with others, classroom or club use, and conduct on video calls when you share your screen.
You agree not to:
You may use the core translator in your browser without creating an account, unless a specific feature requires sign-in. If we offer optional registration, saved history, or paid features, additional terms may apply at checkout or in your account settings. You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
Conversion results follow standard Morse mappings described on the site. Spacing, speed, and formatting options affect how output looks and sounds. You are responsible for verifying accuracy for your purpose (study, hobby radio, puzzles, or personal messages). We do not monitor every string you type; do not enter content you are not allowed to process or share under law or contract.
Audio playback is for practice and illustration. It may not match every real-world radio, telegraph, or exam requirement.
Text and Morse you enter, and personal use of output in private study or communication, remain yours; we do not claim ownership of your messages. By submitting content through optional features that store data on our servers (if offered), you grant us the rights needed to operate those features.
Our collection and use of information are described in our Privacy Policy. By using Morse Code Translator, you also agree to that policy.
Some features may be offered at no charge in the browser unless we clearly state otherwise for a specific product. If we introduce paid plans or credits, pricing and billing terms will be shown before you pay. Payments may be processed by third-party providers subject to their terms.
Morse Code Translator is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free conversion, or that playback timing will satisfy every training standard or exam. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.
We do not guarantee that use of the site will improve licensure, certification, or on-air performance. Historical and educational content on the site is for general information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morse Code Translator, morsecodetranslator.im, and our affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate access to the site if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose a risk to the service or others, or for operational reasons. You may stop using the service at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Morse Code Translator after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
